cut me open!

It's cyst.

The thing growing in me in cyst.

Doc said that it usually goes away naturally but sometimes it can cause infection. Initially i opt for naturally letting it go away but then, i felt a second growth at the other side.
That very moment, i decided that im going for the surgery whether i like it or not. In this case rather, whetha im afraid or not.

The good thing is that its a day surgery so i need not stay in the hospital. Thank God for that!

Ive heard of a few pple i know having cyst. I never thought i had it. Coz i know of someone once. She had cyst. And its ovarian cyst and she needs to remove it if not she will be unable to have a baby.

The first thing that came across my mind was, "Am i able to have a baby in the near future?"

Ok, ok, still a long way to go. But im so obsessed with having a baby right now. Im so engrossed with this novel called BabyVille. And im enjoying every pages as i read. My love for babies deepens and i want a baby oh so badly. But a reality check tells me that i have to make do with the babies that are not mine. Baby Qaayd. Baby Jacyln. And oh how could i ever forget? Baby Aryff is coming in 3months.

Babies aside, i did a lil research on what is cyst actually:
The human body occasionally creates structures and substances which serve no discernible purpose. Such is the case with a membrane-covered growth called a cyst. A cyst is generally formed on the surface of an organ or in the empty spaces between muscle and skin tissues. Generally speaking, most cysts are harmless (benign) and self-contained, filled with air, infected fluids or semi-solid substances such as sebum.

A cyst may or may not be cancerous. Thank god mine isnt a tumour or whatever it is.
A cyst on the ovary is usually not malignant, but it can continue to grow into a large mass and cause painful crowding of abdominal organs. Now, that is scary. All the more i should have it removed coz ever since i have that cyst, during my last menstrual cycle, i had the worst abdominal cramps ever.
I was even kept for an hour for in the hospital, remember?

So its finally decided. Doc, you can cut me open!

Next appointment date at SGH is 5th of June.

Well actually that wasnt the first time they met but still..

After the whole appointment thingy, we headed to Marina. I suggested that place coz the air conditioned in the mall was always freaking cold and the weather was uber HOT!
We had brunch cum dinner at the food court there before heading to STARBUCKS for raspberry fap with java chips session. =p

Ive always have a chubby face so this is one of those rare shots that made me look slimmer. *snorts*

"How do you define bimbo?" she asks me.
"YOU." I simply answered. =p

We gave sri a belated bdae surprise.

She was so surprised.
