Woodsville Wedding.

There were two woodsville weddings to attend on the 30th November 2008.

One of which was my secondary school classmate, Nana.
Who happens to be Bf's aunt.
And we are all from the same school.
=)

Family BBQ

Last weekend, i met Bf at TPY before making our way to the beach.

The bus ride,

The good food,

The cousins/gf bonding, UNO playing session.

The sun, the sand, the beach, the stars,

the lovely companion from a bf.

What more can a girl ask for?

Sleepover

My once in a while sleepover at the McQueens was extra fun as Bf slept over too.

What greeted me when i reached their cribn - the lil one sleeping like an adult on the couch.

And finally, after Bb Aryff turns 3 months...

Bf finally had him in his arms.

For the record, just so you know, i had the guest room and him, the couch.

Its been so long...

Finally after a very very very long time,

Birthday greetings

Its my best friend's birthday today!!!!!

Bf and i headed to the McQueens crib to cook a birthday meal for ija.

We surprised ija with a cookie and cream cake.
She didnt even know we bought a cake for her.
She was so touched that she cried!

While we had that impromptu celebration in the kitchen (coz ija walked in on us while we were lighting the candles),

the cute lil one was in his playpen in the room, oblivious of whats going on.

Wedding bells..?

Rumor has it that wedding bells are ringing for me.

As much as it is pleasing to the ears, im afraid i have to burst your bubble there for a while.

As decided and planned, Bf and i have marriage in the cards. But in 2010. Insyallah.

Bf has been my friend since secondary school.

Close buddy since 2 years ago.

A bf and lover since 4 four months ago.

Its not really dat rushing truth be told, coz i have known him since forever.
So, i wouldnt be surprised if we were to get married earlier.

But i dont think thats a very wise idea.

Bf has just started working and yes, ive only started saving early this year. Plus the fact that im still under medication and yes, my medication bills are huge thank you very much, i think its a better idea to get married in 2010.

Ive always wanted a simple wedding.
Nothing grand for me.

Yes, we get married once in a lifetime but for me, i still want a MARRIAGE rather than a WEDDING.

Heck, i wont even have an engagement.

See, i have it all planned.

We have both decided to get engaged 6 months before the wedding day.
Nothing fancy.
Just his immediate family and mine.

We will be solemnized at ROMM with a reception there.
One day kind of thing with everyone there and then.

There's no point spending a lot coz that money saved could be spent on our honeymoon on decorating and renovating our home.

I just love thinking of that.

I cant wait to be your wife, Bf!

hear me rant

Well, hello.

Its Tuesday evening and im SUPPOSED to be sleeping.

Well, actually not so.

I got back home 2 hours ago from Bugis with bestie, ija.

Yup, just the two of us.

Its been a while since we both did that, considering for the fact that she is with a kid now.

Nonetherless, once in a while, to just sit down, just catching up on old times was awesome.
And i cant say we shall do it again coz its more to like a one day kind of thing.
Hurhur.

We had our meal at Tong Seng before having dessert at Swensens.
Apple crumble baby.
Yuuuuummmmaaaaay.

After both meals, the two of us were practically bloated.
And guess what, one of us vomitted lor.
=p

Someone smelled of vomit so we had this idea of sampling perfume.
And guess what?

Some bugger followed us ok.
Everywhere i turned its his face.
Gosh.
It got a bit scary but since we're like in a public place, there is nothing to be scared of.

So there we were sampling the perfumes and i was torn between Escada's Moon Sparkle and Incredibly Me.
I was figuring out which to get for my birthday (ehem yes, its coming soon) when that bugger came up to us and asked if we could be friends.

He asked Ija and she said, she's married. Which is true of course.
And then turned to me and i said, "Im married." Which im not but what the heck.

Eeeeew. Eeeeewww. EEEEEeeewww.

First or all, SIOW.

Second of all, SIOW.

Third of all - yup you guessed it. SIOW.

Do people really do that anymore?
Coming up to girls and wanting to be friends.
Wouldnt they feel ashamed or maybe even embarrassed to find out that the girl is married.
Gosh!~

Digressing.

I had my normal checkup yesterday at TTSH and guess what?

Doc wanna ward me for observation okay?

I declined of course.

I hate the tot of staying in the hospital.

Well theres an explanation for it of course.

On Sunday, i went through the worst migraine ever.
And ususally, whenever i had headaches or migraines, i'd pop in painkillers or panadols, drift off to sleep and when i wake up, i'd feel so much better.

This time round, i didnt get to do so as i wasnt allowed to mix my meds as i am already taking my tb med. It supposedly affects my liver so he says.

Imagine my pain and agony.

I tried by all means to endure the pain but around 7 plus, i couldnt take it anymore.
There i was lying and sitting up and lying and sitting up on my bed, sobbing and wailing my eyes out.

At first i was just crying softly but i guess i might have wailed cause Mama walked in and tried to pacify me. She even picit my kepala for the third time.
But of course it did not help.

My body is still adjusting to everything i guess. Medicines, environment, food.

Im still nursing a slight headache but i didnt wanna think of it too much.
Makin menjadi jadi nanti.

So, im pretending to be ok when actually im not.

I dont want my bf to worry.
I think he has gone through so much with me.
I keep falling sick and all and he has to go through it with me.
The things he do to make me feel better.

His presence is enough to make me forget the migraine.
Him sacrificing his sleep after night shift to accompany me to TTSH lest i fainted on the way there.

I can never express how thankful and lucky to have him in my life.

The McQueens, me and boyfie headed to Marina Barrage in the evening and had a photoshoot there.

I was really unglam with just a simple tee and jeans. And specsy.

Project Photoshop

Portfolio fever is soo over considering the fact that the holidays are here.

But lo and behold, if you think its time to slack off, you are so wrong.

Bf and i have a huge project to attend to.

Well, it involves these couple.

Kenny and Jovine.
They are tying the knot this december and i am given the honour to design their wedding potrait. =)

As you can see, Boyfie was so engrossed in photoshopping.
Truth be told, he did most of it for the first sample.

100 days of LOVE

Today is our 100th day together as a couple.

Its close to midnight and having just eaten one pathetic meal today, there's no wonder im hungry and craving for ban mian.
Since there's no good food to eat at home, i succumb myself to photoshopping myself eating ban mian.

It feels like im running a marathon. I stop every now and then but ive been going on and on right now and im nearly there at the finishing line. Told myself that i wouldnt blog till i reached the finishing line but i think i can still slack a bit. Heh.

I'd wanna sidetrackked from the stacks of portfolio to finish updating my blog.
It really has been that mundane.

Lets take a trip, all the way back to my teacher's day dinner at Kintami @ Furama Riverfront.

The ambience was lovely.

The food was awesome.

The company was nice.

Someone, bring me back to Kintamani, please.....?

I enjoyed myself tremendously.

Last year, the McQueens came to my crib just the two of them.

the most important person in my life, the one that im living for, turns 50 today.

It has really been a tiring and exhausting one month.
Everyday without fail, i'd always be mounted with observations records.
I am just so glad its gonna end soon.
Little did i know, that the year is about to end.
It seems like everything is flying by. Very quickly.
School closes next friday, mind you.
Im exhilarated.
Definitely cant wait to see where they are going to post me next. Which class im gonna teach.

So since im talking about work once again, i think i better get back to my portfolios.
Before that, im gonna get something to eat.
The tummy playing drum and bass.
