SUNSHINE

Whenever i'm feeling down, which i am, today, i will turn on the trusted lappie, clicked on one of the pictures folder and just smiled.

Nothing beats a cutesy lil sunshine who will put a smile on my face no matter how sucky im feeling.

I have been having blast during the long weekend! And my favorite being on Sunday, the first day of Chinese New Year.

What did i do?

I went for a makeover at Studio Perfect and then i donned (coincidentally) outfits from Studio Frost and had my very own photoshoot.

See, im getting married in June and i am decorating my room myself. I need to blow up a picture of myself and hang it on my wall.

So what did i do?

I set an appointment with Studio Perfect for my makeup, roped in the fiance as my photographer and started whoring for the camera.

These few are my favorites.

Monday at the beach.

It wasnt a last minute thing.

I just havent met up with this girlfriend of mine for the longest of time.

So we planned to meet at Parkway Parade.

The plan?

Just chill at the beach.

On our way to the beach, we saw an old friend.

Who?

POOH! LOL.

Pooh and Xiong Mao.

And then we say my favorite, TIGGER!

But he was too big to hug and cuddle. So we did this,

So then we walked to ECP and found a spot to chill.

We didnt bring a mat or anything so we just sat on the grass with our bubble tea and books.

WE DIDNT DO ANY READING AT ALL BTW.

LMAO.

Infact, we just chilled by the beach. Had a very good talk. Listened to music and did some gambling. NOT!

Well, if you didnt know me by now, i like different. I dare to be different.

I mix and match clothes and use sometimes ridiculous hair accesories just so i sttand out from the rest.

INQ Mini 3G.

I have been using this phone recently, 4 months to be exact and i love it.

I love the functions.

Its super easy to use.

Apart from calling and texting, i use my inq to tweet and check my facebook.

Yes, i do not need to bring my lappie around anymore! :p

There's even instant notifications when you received friend requests, pokes or messages.
Awesome or not?

Now, im not really digging INQ mini 3G.
I got a change of heart.

Im in love with...

INQ CHAT 3G!!!

Basically it has all the same functions as the INQ mini, except that camera megapixel is up a notch- 3.0 and that it has a QWERTY keypad which is perfect to replying emails and tweet.

I WANT!!!!

Sight seeing in Sunny Singapore

Well, if you did remember me mentioning this in my previous entry, my online buddy came from Australia on a holiday to Singapore.

The question is, where did i bring him?

You know, a typical singaporean day will be hitting the mall. I dont want to bring him to a mall. Heck they have malls in Australia, i wanna bring him to a place where he have not seen or been to before.

A total give-away isnt it? Lol.

Yeap,people, i brought him to Sentosa.

I met him at Dhoby Gaut before we made our way to HarbourFront.

Had brunch at Banquet.

Why Banquet?

Ok, here's the thing, if you didnt know (prolly bcoz you dont eat out or you live under a hole or some sort), Banquet has many varieties of food that describes Singapore.

From malay to chinese to indian and heck there's even western!

Banquet allows him to choose any different food that he wanna try.

We both chose chinese btw.

I had wanton chicken noodle and he had fried cockle char kwey.

Yums.

Im hungry at 7am.

Ok, ok let me explain why im up at this ungodly hour?

Yes, indeed, its a public holiday but i purposely set the alarm 5 minutes before 6. Reason being i wanna tune in to the Dan and Young show on 987fm.

So on want or not?

This is the last week Dan's gonna be on air so i dont wanna miss it for the world!

Ive been distracted. Back to entry.

Caucasians dont eat much chilli do they?

Everytime Adrian a spoonful of char kwey, he had to down gulps of water. He said that the food was spicy. There's no wonder he had two drinks! :p

So anyway, right after we had our brunch we took the monorail to SENTOSA.

It was a hot hot hot hot day. But hey, its Singapore, what do you expect except RAIN or SUN!

I took him on the skyride! It was mad fun, for me that is! :p He was apparently, afraid of height.

But hey, it was all good. He got on it anyway. That's a good sport!

Look at the view? Its simply breathtaking!

We walked from Siloso beach to Pahlawan beach.
Brought him to the famous bridge and reached the top of the tower and this is what we saw.

Its so gorgeous.
Sometimes, it takes an outsider to remind Singaporeans how wonderful Singapore is. Not all though. Singapore is frigging expensive but what the heck.
So anyways, before Adrian came, i did not even take a proper look at this view. Its just pretty. Its just those little things, you know.

Just like a tourist. :p

We walked a lil more before going our separate ways.

I really hope you enjoyed yourself Adrian.
And i think by now, he is back home in Australia!

Dead and gone?

I have this sudden urge to start ranting.

The topic?

Platonic relationships. Is it dead and gone?

Are there really no such thing as platonic relationships?

So now, girls cannot befriend a guy and likewise?

I am totally amazed and agog at this misconception.

WTF.

Seriously, wtf.

Me, for once am very upset about this whole issue.

See, i have this online buddy all the way from down under.

Heck, right now at this very moment, he is right here in sunny SG.

So anyways, i'm pretty upset that people are chiding me for wanting to meet up with this buddy of mine.

What is so wrong in meeting this buddy of mine whom i've gotten to know from Tagged days?

And no, he did not come to SG just to solely meet me.

He is here on a holiday and has been wanting to come here. And he has many friends here so it is really a good time to visit isn't it?

I was telling my colleague the other day about Adrian coming over and i was bracing myself to be lectured by her. But it never came. And thank god!
She, a forty something year old woman can keep an open mind about it, what about those half her age?

Like i can't talk care of myself!

Very, very pissed can?

*sigh*

I will still be meeting him up for dinner or something one of these days before he heads back to Aussie. That, i can promise you.

I mean, yes, of course it is not wrong to talk to the opposite sex.

Heck, in Facebook, there's this application titled, "Just because i talk to the opposite sex, doesn't mean i'm flirting".

I second to that.

What is so wrong in talking to the opposite sex?

At the end of the day, you, yourself should know your boundaries.

You, yourself should know what is right or wrong.

You, yourself should know when to stop.

TRUST is the most important thing to have in a relationship.

And by relationship is not just bf/gf. Its fiance/fiancee, husband/wife, brother/sister, sister/sister, mother/daughter etc.

You catch my drift?

Without trust, misconception will occur.

And when misconception occur, fights will outbreak.

So, lesson here, ladies and gentlemen, trust is the key to every relationship.
And if trust is there, platonic relationship won't be buried alive.
