This hijab, this marks of piety, is an act of faith, a symbol for all the world to see.

Updated.

Well, I have always wanted to blog on why i started covering up.

So here goes.

Back when i was younger, i wore the hijab. And then i took it off, with the thought that, I am still young. I want to have fun. Let me enjoy. Yada. Yada. Yada.

So what made me wear the hijab?

Well, i have been toying around with the idea for quite some time.

Ever since i started going for religious classes at Andalus.

I guess, knowing more about Islam helps. Understanding about pleasing Allah is a big factor for me.

I wear hijab to please Allah.

And the stories that i read about hell and that the occupants are mostly woman pushed me even further.

Truth be told i always have this thought inside of me asking, "Am i ready?" "Why am i wearing it now?" "Why can't i wear it later?"

I swear those questions comes up alot of times. I will keep reminding myself that i am wearing it for the sake of Allah.

I wear the hijab because i want people to judge me for who I am. Rather than what i wear.

Do you know?

It is considered 'pahala' when a woman in hijab sweats. How Allah cares and loves us.

Hijab is not merely a covering dress but more importantly, it is speech, manners, behavior and appearance in public.

Insya Allah till my last breath i will be in hijab.

So,
